Kevin's Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Air Fryer Chicken Wings are so crispy, thanks to the baking powder in the spice mix which help popping the skin for a crisp result with a kick of spice.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 50 ml Barbecue Sauce
  • 50 g Blue Cheese (at room temperature)
  • 1 tbsp Chilli Flakes
  • 50 g Creme Fraiche (or cream cheese)
  • 1 tbsp Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Ground Coriander
  • 80 g Salad Leaves (optional)
  • 1 pinch Salt and Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • 500 g chicken wings

Method

  1. Preheat your Air Fryer to 210˚C.
  2. In a bowl, combine the spices, baking powder and season well with salt and pepper.
  3. Toss the wings in the spices mixture.
  4. Place them in the basket and into the air fryer.
  5. Cook the wings for 25-30 minutes. Shake the basket after 10 minutes to ensure they cook evenly and the skin is golden brown and crispy.
  6. In the meantime, make the sauce. In a bowl, whisk the crème fraiche with the blue cheese. Check the seasoning and set aside.
  7. Transfer wings to a bowl and serve the sauces on the side and some salad leaves.
